We had such a great stay here with friendly and helpful staff and the perfect location near the mountains, supermarket, and restaurants, we didn't want to leave and can definitely recommend it!

Located on the hills with a beautiful view of Ella mountains, this resort is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. the spacious rooms are well-equipped with amenities like a hairdryer and straighteners. the service provided by the host and his wife is outstanding, from organizing transportation to offering fresh juice on the rooftop for sunrise views. the breakfast is delicious, and the owner's wife is known for her amazing curry.

The dogs in the area sometimes bark late into the night, which can disturb guests' sleep.

Located high above the town, with magnificent views of mountains and valleys. The room was clean and tidy, with a great bathroom and hot water. The host family was friendly and accommodating, and the wife's cooking was delicious! The dinner with the awesome view was amazing and had an authentic, home cooked quality to it.

The uphill hike to the property could be a shock for some, especially with luggage. However, tuk tuks are available at the base in town for a reasonable price.

The triple room at Sun View Resort Kithalella is absolutely fantastic! It's got a private entrance, which makes it feel like our own little cozy hideout in the beautiful Ella. It's super convenient for us friends who love to come and go as we please, without any hassle.

But if I had to nitpick, I guess the only downside is that the private entrance doesn't come with a personal doorman to greet us. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I know others might still enjoy the independence it offers.

I stayed at a charming hotel called Sun View Resort in the hills of Ella for two nights. The owners were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. They organized hiking guides, drivers, and even prepared a delicious dinner for us at short notice. The views from the resort were breathtaking, especially during sunrise. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was amazing and the owners made us feel like part of their family. I highly recommend Sun View Resort for a peaceful and memorable stay.
